I’m not really going to talk about religion and politics. I’m just interested in seeing how many people are looking for a fight. It’s really quite interesting.

We now have two. I remember when the first one came to town, felt like we’d graduated to big city status. This was of course reinforced by the opening of a Subway. No, not the transit, the sandwich purveyor. Though, when I heard we had a subway I remember wondering why we needed one for our 1/4 mile downtown. Anyway, you can see the new lights from our store. Once a town becomes a two stoplight town, it’s only a matter of time before it becomes… A three stoplight town…?
Every time I make a purchase online, I pause before entering my payment information- even after 5 uneventful years of online spending. I don’t do that when I hand my card to a waiter, why is that? Statistically, I’m more likely to get ripped off at a restaurant than a website. It can’t be the apron that inspires consumer trust, because both jewelers and waiters wear aprons. Ok, so jewelry is more expensive- BUT, when was the last time your Fuzzy Navel Flambè Crepes came with 30 day returns ? Of course, our online customers can’t SEE our apron wearing jewelers-so maybe there’s something to the apron theory after all…
